To observe Patriot
Day and honor the innocent victims who lost their lives as a result of the
terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, the three key things that President
George. W. Bush called Americans to do in observance on Patriot Day by his
proclamation
are:

at half-staff on your homes and businesses.
Observe a moment
of silence beginning at 8:46 a.m. eastern daylight time.
Participate in
remembrance services, candlelight vigils or appropriate ceremonies and activities.
